These are the first and only pair of skis I own.
I started skiing 5 years ago at the age of 33. Having started late and being the father of 3 kids below the age of 10, I wasn't about to splurge on ski equipment or take risks on the trail.
After sliding all over the place with blunt edges on rental skis for the first two years, I decided to lease these for the season. I noticed the difference right away. I was finally doing something that could be passed off as a sorry excuse for skiing!!! So I ended up buying them at the end of the season.
I taught myself to ski parallel on them and now I'm trying to teach myself carving with limited success. I've ventured some double-diamond trails on these skis and they help up pretty good.
If I get any good, I'll probably buy newer and more improved equipment. But these skis will always have a special place in my heart and my already-cluttered garage.
