Pros: Provides insight into the why of technique rather than just the how

Cons: Ron gets sidetracked by racing and mechanical engineering

  A good editor would have demanded that Ron LeMaster turn "Ultimate Skiing" into three books. One would have presented a technical analysis of skis and skiing similar to that found in "The Physics of Skiing" by David Lind and Scott P. Sanders, only Ron's version would have had better illustrations of free-body diagrams in full color. This book would have been targeted at those who need to know the biomechanics of skiing in order to recommend changes in equipment and racing techniques.
