I am a level II skier with lots of courage - so I am mostly skiing down double blacks for a good portion of the day. I have rarely been able to ski past the early afternoon - hobbling in to the lodge to relieve my feet and drink coffee...alone. Every boot I have ever rented has dug deep into my shins and hits the front of my toes so aggressively that it can even leave them black and blue.
I guess I have difficult feet and I thought I would never find boots that gave me extreme comfort ... but two weeks ago I did. They were very supportive and an extremely good fit. I skiied all day without any pain and lasted until they kicked us off the mountain. If you've been having trouble with your boots, I definitely suggest demoing these on your next run.
