Rustic Elegance for Families or Romantic Getaway

Pros: Easy to navigate with children, arts and crafts, pottery, film screenings, bar, restaurants, destination wedding, drive to Park City, Alta, Snowbird,

Cons: Tiny mountain, not for skiers looking for a challenge, in the middle of nowhere so pretty much stay within resport for food, entertainment, etc.

Go to Sundance if you are looking for rustic but upscale accommodations.  You can stay in rooms and condos within the resort, close to skiing, restaurants and arts and crafts or you can stay in the many large houses up in the hills.  Bring your kids along for this vcacation. During the day, you can go for ski runs then when your children (or you) want to do something else or are cold, you can do pottery, arts & crafts,  movie screenings, spa or just sit at the sandwich shop or bar.     The mountain is small.  This makes it perfect for families with children or for friends and a couple who are looking for a getaway that is small, rustic, not mobbed with people like most nice resorts in...

Pros: Not crowded, close proximity to Utah Valley

Cons: Lacks terrain

Good mountain if you want to avoid the mobs of people up Big and Little Cottonwood. Fun terrain if you're not looking for anything too crazy.   It's small, but if you just like to ski and don't really care about a small atmosphere without true big mountain terrain, it's fun.
