Ski Plattekill Mountain Reviews

Pros: Terrain, small crowds, price, friendly staff

Cons: nightlife, lodging

First time there this weekend. I can't believe I have skiid Hunter and Killington  so many times and have never come to this place. While Hunter's claim to fame is blowing lots of snow, this place doesnt need to blow as much. The reason is that, it doesnt get skiid off. Almost Heaven

Pros: Good Vertical, Great Mountain Feeling, Unbeatable Terrain, Wonderful Terrain, No Lift Lines, Best Glades in the Catskills, Homey lodge

This time,...

Plattekill POW!!

Pros: Powder,no crouds, not open during week

Cons: slow lifts, Kind of far, not much snowmaking

Plattekill is the MRG of New York.  Because P-kill isn't open during the week you can find fresh powder on saturdays and sundays.  Not much snowmaking so you have to go when it snows.  Good glades if you know where to look. Overall, I like plattekill
