My first non-hand-me-down skis

Pros: Great carving on groomed surfaces, great control on crusty surfaces

Cons: Not as great in powder / deeper snow

I got these skis to replace my Salomon XScream hand me down skis. I didnt really know what to look for, I knew i wanted a ski with more shape and I really liked my old Salomon's so I went with these. What I didn't know was that this was considered one of the skinniest skies available, even though it had so much more shape than my old ones. I live in Maine so I hardly get the best skiing conditions up here. Most of the time the surface is crusty or groomed. Rarely we get more than 6 inches of powder, so in fact these "old school" skinny skies have turned out to be a great choice. I have great control over crusty and icey surfaces, and groomed trails are heavenly for carving. If I lived out...
