Cons: unable to fine tune buckling
I was expecting something really great for the price of these expert boots. But they are no better than the cheap Solomon boots that I wore out. In fact, the first day I wore them, I had a really hard time getting them buckled. I then put WD-40 on them and they are better, but still difficult to buckle. They are comfortable, just like my old, cheap Solomons. But they do not deliver the precise control of my old boots, because the two-buckle system doesn't allow you to fine-tune them. Interesting. You don't always get what you pay for. By the way, I have been skiing for 42 years and am definitely an expert.
