Pros: Stability, edge grip

Cons: Initiation, forgiveness

Ski: Salomon Mustang
Dimensions: 119/73/105
Tested Length: 178
Turn Radius: 16.8 meters
Price w/binding: $1,175

The Good: Stability, edge grip
The Bad: Initiation, forgiveness

Verdict: The Mustang is more of a quarterhorse, with great stability and hold, especially on big wide turns, but without the kind of forgiveness and strength in quick turns that might make you want to ski the whole mountain with it. Definitely at its best speeding hardpack with the frontside set.
