Its an average ski, nothing great nothing horrible. Lacks the energy of the Blizzard, Volkl and Fischer WC SL ski's. The Radical Line is slightly different but in my opinion no where near the other three brands I have mentioned.
As far as a race ski there are better options.

My high school race coach got an excellent deal on these skis for our team last year, and many racers on our team bought them. They are amazing race skis! They hold their edge so well, and when you get a nice turn you can really feel them pop and accelerate you into your next turn! They work great for slalom racing, and I have even been using them for GS, and they work quite well for that too! The edges of the top surface have been cut up and torn a bit, but that's expected of any ski. These are great racing skis, and they are worth a lot more than I paid for them!
