Rossignol BC 125

Pros: positrack base allows you to climb low angles without skins

Cons: positrack base on hard packed descents

What an amazing ski! I had my eye on this ski for touring at first but quickly found that it was great in most of my back-country stashes. At 123/95/120 the BC 125 has plenty of float and used with a beefier boot was perfect for down mountain skiing. It was quick and snappy from edge to edge as well. It will  be perfect for long rolling  approaches to the steeps when it's time to skin up. The only negative I could find is that the positrack base hangs up a little when you reverse camber the ski on hard snow. Free your heel and your mind will follow!!!!!
