Pros: Warm, hand gaitors, integrates with powderhorn's overall connecting system, hooded
Powderhorn's John Jacket is extremely warm, but also has the breathability to keep your body regulated on those really warm days. The hood works great when you have those 80-90 mph winds on the top of the mountain, and is large enough to fit over my helmet. Hand gaitors add to the warmth and helps keep those digits extra toasty. Zippered pockets have a waterproofing seal to keep moisture out, and also the jacket integrates with the Powderhorn overall connecting system. It also has a super tacky elastic powder skirt to keep the pow out on the super deep days. Not only is this jacket super technical, it is the most stylin gear on the mountain.
