Pros: enough room for layer, good quality

Cons: expensive MSRP for a performance shell, no mesh net vent

I recently bought the Powder Bowl  Pants in black, this year 2011 they add goretex performance shell, the pants have a thin layer of insulation and will be enough for most days, but also has enough room for layer on really cold days. I`m 5'5" 32 waist 30 inseam and the small/regular works great. I like the 32" inseam because they will cover most of the ski boots.

The side vents are big enough to help with heat on hot days, they only thing I`d like to have is a mesh net in the vent, since sometimes if there is powder the snow might get into your pants if the vents are open.

Pants also has hooks that will connect on the powder skirt in the Powder Bowl Jacket. They work great together.

As well as the powder bowl jacket the pants are roomy, but they offer a slim version if you don`t like a roomy fit.
