Pros: Warm, looks good, lots of pockets
Cons: Arms are a little long, zipper is ok, white camo gets dirty easy
I bought this jacket while it was on sale at Sierra Trading Post. It is very warm and I usually find myself wearing just a single base layer under when it's in the teens and 20's on the slopes here in Colorado. The snow camo pattern on it also looks nice and isn't too gaudy.
A cool feature about this jacket are the magnets it uses to close the flap over the main zipper. Saves a little fumbling around when I'm trying to close the flap. I also find myself leaving the jacket unzipped and just closing it over using the magnets when I am just walking around.
Only con is that it has arms that are too long (L size). I am 5'10" with a 42" chest and I normally wear large jackets. When the jacket is on and I extend my arms to the side with my fingers extended, they are still just inside the sleeve. The skirt of the jacket covers the top third of my thighs which feels right.
Update: After some more time in this jacket, I would also like to say that the chest pockets are difficult to get into since they are horizontal. There has also been a couple of issues with the main zipper since it is just a pretty standard zipper. The magnets used to close the zipper flap are also discoloring the material it touches so there are a few circular brown spots where the magnets are now. I still love the jacket though and will continue to wear it until it falls apart.
