Nordica Speed Machine 10 Ski Boot - Men's

These boots give all the performance a strong skiier needs for anything short of racing, without sacrificing comfort.

The only problem I have with them - and maybe I'm just nostalgic for my rear-entry Salomon SX-91's - is that they're sufficiently stiff that I have a hard time pulling the tongue far enough forward to get in or out of them easily. But, once buckled in, they're comfy.I thought they were plenty warm, even for a full day in well below-zero conditions.

When I first tried them on the heel cup seemed is a little wide, and I got too much heel lift, but my bootfitter replaced the stock footbed with an orthotic footbed  (~$20 off-the-shelf, not custom)  which solved that problem, and closed the sale.

I got these b/c my local shop screwed up and sold me a pair that didnt fit at first, so a month later i went back with bruised shins, and this is all they had left.  Granted they fit me pretty well, but the heal is a little wide, and doesn't really grip the foot in, and the liner is kind of cheap.  also my feet are always cold in these boots, dont know why.  I wouldn't really call them a expert boot but they are solid.  Will replace when I can though
