Pros: Big float in pow, quick handling on groom....no seriously.
Cons: Early rise tip and tail means fine balance point, foot fatigue.
The Fly Swatter is sure to get a few crosswise looks from rocker newbies. The rise is pretty extreme on packed snow, but settles nicely into blower. For me foot fatigue was an issue at first. I was not prepared for how 125mm under foot changes edging. I'm used to using fine muscle movements of my foot and ankle to effectively edge skis, but with something this wide I had to relax the finer muscles and and use knee and thigh movements to tip them on edge. Once that got sorted out they were great! Just don't try and use the tail when landing a cliff...they will shoot up in front of you and you will land on your backside, hehe.
