Pros: Sturdy, comfortable, good-looking
Mountain Khakis have figured out that women who spend a lot of time outdoors hiking and fishing and such tend to be athletic, and need a little extra room for their bigger muscles. I have never worn a pair of tailored pants that fit so well. I am as comfortable in these pants as in my sweats, but unlike the sweats, these look good on me! They would go as well in a business casual outfit as wading through a creek. The fabric is a quick-drying but tough nylon blend -- pucker brush and beggar lice slough right off. The pants have two zippered pockets for keys and other items you would not want to lose. The knees are articulated and the seams are very well sewn. These pants are built to last.
I like them so much I'm going to get a pair of the Alpine Utility Mountain Khakis, which are made of canvas and look like they would withstand working construction.
