Pros: This binding crosses over between an on piste ripper to a backcountry mad man. Beefy enough to take a beating and keep on trucking.

Cons: Heavy...thats why its so strong...I find that sometimes the system can become frozen over after a long skin.
Purchase Date:November 2007 Purchase Price:$495.00

This binding is one of a kind.  I have tried all other touring style bindings and find that only the Duke can ski the front side of the mountain all day, jump off cliffs in bounds or out, and still with the flip of a switch have the freedom of the freeheelers.  I would recommend it to anyone who uses lifts to access their backcountry terrrian or for those that cant afford more than one setup for powder skiing.  Check your DIN if you run at a recommended DIN maybe the Baron is for you.  You will also save your self $100 bucks.
