Lange Freeride 130 Ski Boot - Men's

Awesome boot.  Buyer beware though- my feet are strange and I had to do a ton of work to it to get it to fit right.  I have wide, bony ankles and a second toe on my left foot that is longer than my big toe along with a wide forefoot- all of which required stretches.  Once those kinks were ironed out, the boot was freakin fantastic!  I have more control with these boots unbuckled than I did with my old Nordica GSs cranked all the way down.  The liners come with a nifty velcro strap system to do away with the lace-ups everybody hates.  Also, Lange changed their sizing this year so get fit by a boot guy, don't buy online.  The biggest con in their performance is the fact that they leak.  Incessantly.  Hockey-stop yourself twice or hit the hill on a pow day and your liners will be soaked, which you can literally watch because the shell is a sweet translucent orange.  I'll probably be getting a neoprene boot cover to fix this though, so not a huge deal.  Just a tip: try to warm up the boot before you try to put it on, the shells are stiff as hell.  All in all an awesome boot for someone who doesn't mind putting in some work to get the best boot possible.  I hope they last me forever because I'm in love!
