Pros: The faster you go, the better they get.
Cons: Nothing really. They aren't so good off piste, but they're not supposed to be!
First a bit of background about me:
I'd describe myself as a novice to intermediate level skier. Ive been skiing quite a few times in the past but have had a break of about 5 years. When I went skiing in January in Austria I saw the Kneissl's in a hire shop and asked to try them. I first noticed that they felt completely different to the Salomon Daytona 24's that I had been skiing with on the previous day. They were a lot less forgiving and required more accurate weight transfer to get them to work. This is hardly unexpected news as they are supposed to be race skis!
After a bit of getting used to, I decided to buy a pair (I had two further ski holidays booked). I've got used to them now and have found that they have forced my skiing to get considerably better. The faster the run, the more stable the skis get and the more confidence they inspire.
They seem to be pretty durable and the bindings are fine too. All in all, I'd definitely recommend these skis. I think that my ability on the skis is still well below their capability and I'm looking forward to going out on them again soon : )
