Pros: take it anywhere
Cons: skinny underfoot. watch out for boot out on hard carves
I have literally been all over the hill with this ski. It is an excellent ski to be on. I was 25 years on Alpine boards, then made the switch to Tele. I picked these up for a song along with G3 Targa bindings. Didn't know anything about them when I got the skis, just that they were the right size and couldn't wait to turn 'em.
They are a very easy ski to learn on. quite forgiving, able to throw in the parallel turns if I got into trouble no problem. great for carving, decent floatation in the deep stuff, not so bad in the crud too. A very good ski if you're looking for an intermediate "one quiver ski".
THe only problem i had with them is the slim waist. I found that if i carved too hard on the groomers, i was getting pretty bad "boot-out" where your boot hits the snow causing the ski to loose it's edge. Threw on a set of riser plates and haven't had the problem since.
