After reading a review of a Bode Miller bag for $225, I just had to add this item to this category.
I got two High Sierra Ski Boot Backpack Bags for about $20 bucks a piece from Sierra Trading Post http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,71286_High-Sierra-Ski-Boot-Backpack-Bag.html (had a DealFlyer promo). I've used this bag almost every day for a week.
It holds my helmet, boots, extra clothes, snacks, gloves, goggles, etc & carries very well. My partner can fit his XL helmet, mondo 29/321mm shell boots & other stuff no problem. Pretty burley construction. It's basically a big black bucket w/ an under lid space for small stuff & outer pocket for muchies, accessories etc. Apres ski, we stuff the boots w/ newsprint & voila, dry boots by the next morning's dawn patrol. No need to plug anything in... dry boots, carry-all ski backpack for less than 1/10th of the price of the Bode Miller bag.
