Pros: Good quality and easy to carry all of your gear
Cons: None so far
I have been making due with an assortment of miscellaneous bags for many years, and none of them came close to meeting the needs of a skier. Finally determined to make my life easier this year I started looking and searching for a ski specific bag that would carry everything except skis and poles.
This bag looks like it will do it all with ease. Boots go in side pockets with drain holes, lots of room for helmet, extra clothes, gloves, lunch, snacks and other gear in the middle. A very nice side pocket for small stuff. Handles, carrying strap, tough materials and zippers make it look like it will last many seasons. Available in black and a greenish tartan ( the one I have ). The convertible feature is interesting, it converts into a bootbag, a backpack or a shoulder bag, features I may not utilize but who knows.
The purchasing experience was interesting. I try to buy local but it did not work out this time. The big local ski shop had the bag marked at $129 list, the big sporting goods store had it at $80 and said he could not work with me. Campmor on line had it for $47 including shipping, a real bargain considering all the problems it is going to solve for me.
I am very pleased with this purchase and looking forward to using it a lot.
