Pros: warm, dry, claws
Cons: leather upkeep?
I have the XCR version of these gloves. By far the nicest glove I've ever owned, you can tell that the second you put them on and look at them. If you want the best, this glove is hard to top.
Very warm, soft liner, and dry! Handcuffs come in handy for long chairlift rides.
I actually spilled chunks of snow inside the liner several times. I put the glove on feeling the snow with my fingers, and after about 30 minutes, the snow was gone and liner was very dry.
The claw allows enough movement in the hands to do most tasks you'd ordinarily do with gloved hands: tighten buckles, adjust zippers and goggles, grip poles, etc.
I've worn them in temps from 5F to 36F. Found them appropriate for all days so far.
