Pros: Primaloft Insulation, Modern Styling, True to size fit, Breathability
Cons: Puffy look and feel
Picked up the new Mission Jacket this year, after reading several reviews raving about the breathability alongside the Primaloft insulation. I haven't yet got to test this on the slopes, so I can only share my initial impressions.
Fit is true to size, I own a couple other Helly Hansen jackets over the years and sizing seems to be in-line with them. This is not the case for some of their casual clothing where sizing is not true and generally all over the place. I also like the abundance of zip pockets, far more than any ski jacket I've owned. The style is fairly simple and modern without any detailing that could get snagged on a tree branch or something. Breathes fairly well, tested it in 60F (not exactly appropriate for the jacket) and didn't break a sweat or overheat.
Only downsize so far is the fluffyness or puffyness of the insulation. I imagine this will compact with time, but it is a fairly voluminous jacket for the amount of insulation inside.
