Pros: Solid, different looking, inexpensive
Cons: No air intake, in spring it could become very hot
I was looking for an helmet which was different than the common race-replica looking helmets around and which was not too expensive but safe at the same time.
-Safe, well, Giro it's a well known brand, with a wide offer, hlemet seems solid enough
-Different looking, the shape similar to the old M1 helmet from the U.S. armed services made me want it. Completely differnet from a race replica, I deem it very cool.
Warm, in cold weather it's very comfortable but its shape and built, while making it comfortable when cold, make it at the same time very warm, nearly hot when the sun shines from spring time on. Even if the earpads can be removed, it's better to have a second helmet to alternate it with.
I really love it.
