Fischer Progressor 7+

Pros: Groomer performance, edge grip

Cons: Only a carving ski, a little brittle

These skis are the lowest model in Fischer's Progressor dual-radius carving skis.  These skis are great for groomer carving, but are pretty bad at anything else.  A strong skier will want a higher model (such as the 9, or equivalent).  These skis are pretty stable and have good edge grip, but they are not "damp" or "beefy" and don't have as solid a feel underfoot as you would like for high-speed carving.  I regret not spending a bit more to get the 9+.

However, I would say for an intermediate skier who only skis groomers, this would be a great ski.
