Lodging
Lodging
If you expect a charming little Heidi-like Swiss village, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Despite its world-class ski resort, Davos Klosters is a city, and its lodging reflects it. Nightly rates are high, but most hotels serve a generous breakfast.

Dining
Food is expensive and there are often long waits for dinner at local restaurants. Hotel guests get priority seating, so pick a hotel where you know you will enjoy the food. The resort's on mountain restaurants include Bruhlin's on the top of Weissfluhgipfel, which serves salads, gourmet concoctions and tasty deserts. Erica, located on the Klosters run, serves cheese fondue.

Davos Klosters
Description:

With its 5 mountains featuring 300 km of slopes divided in 85 descents, Davos Klosters lists amongst the biggest snowsport regions of the alps. And the best part is: there is something for all winter sport enthusiasts: Carver, Freerider, Snowboarders and even for all those who like to take it easy – the first "slow down" skiing area has opened this season on Schatzalp.

Pros: Snow condition, terrain variaty, luxury town

Cons: Lift system has room for improvements.

I was there with a big group, so the price reflected a huge discount. Snow was great. There only complain we had is strange lift arrangements: there was no lift to loop out Davos itself.
