Pros: Family oriented. Terriffic variety of terrain.
Mt. Cranmore one of the classic ski resorts in North America, harking back to the 1930s when people arrived by the ski train. The railroad station is still there and rides are available on the Conway Scenic RR. Until recently, Mt. Cranmore was reknowned for the Skimobile, a one of a kind lift that was a cross between the SF trolleys and a slot car. The Skimobile has been torn down due to age, but you'll see plenty of the cars around town. The skiing includes a variety of terrain from the challenging Ledges, Koessler and Scheider trails to the Gibson Trail and South Slope greens.
