Pros: Super easy access, new facilities, full service, snow making
Cons: Gets crowded, low elevation means it can rain
Coronet Peak is probably the most easilly accessible ski area in NZ, it even has a sealed road. The views are great and it has interesting terrain if there is enough snow. It does get super busy during the season so get out there early in the day before the masses arrive. It has a low elevation meaning the snow is unreliable although it has a state of the art snow making system (it still needs to be cold enough for making snow though!)
It has modern facilities that you would expect from a large overseas resort. And Queenstown is a great base to stay with activites and night life being the best for a Ski Resort in NZ.
