Pros: Very warm, feels like i'm wrapped in a blanket, down filled hood, removable hood, stylish enough to go out in, recco, handy pockets
Cons: i've only been wearing it for 2 days now. should have bought one sooner
This jacket retails for $375, but I got it for $200 on level9.com ( http://www.levelninesports.com/Cloudveil-Down-Patrol-Down-Jacket-Men-S ) I've only had this jacket for a few days now, so i can't say anything about durability, but this thing is really warm, and could not be more comfortable. My prior favorite article of clothing is the 700 count North Face vest, so I guess I'm turning into a down feind This is not a jacket for spring skiing, it's just too warm. Only thing is that i was debating as to whether I should get the small or medium, I'm 5'8'' 150 LBS, and I got the small. When I put it on I thought perhaps they sent the medium, as it was as big as I wanted, but sure enough, it was the small. Don't get me wrong, the thing fits me perfectly, but i thought the small would fit tighter. Since I was debating between the two, I'm perfectly happy. I'm very happy that i didn't get the medium, though, that's for sure. As someone else mentioned, this jacket is not small, but it is not bulky either, and down squishes so nicely I wouldn't notice if it was. I'm a little sad that there won't be a need for my North Face vest anymore. I purchased the cinder one, which is light brown on brown.
