Cons: I can't tink of any
Pros: Light and fluffy, very stable, surprisingly manoueverable
Cons: I can't tink of any

Pros: Quick, Dynamic, Powerful, Holds an edge effortlessly, Very Maneuverable, Worth the money by a longshot.
Cons: Tails of skis are slightly harder to initiate a braking slide with, tails have a lot of grip, much like a car with stability control.

Pros: Fast, manoeuvrable, excellent edge grip
Cons: Not as stiff as I would like

Pros: Quick, Stable, & Forgiving
Cons: It is what it is. If you're looking for a all MTN versatility this isn't it.
“Its an average ski, nothing great nothing horrible. Lacks the energy of the Blizzard, Volkl and Fischer WC SL ski's. The Radical Line is slightly different but in my opinion no where near the other three brands I have mentioned. As far as a race ski there are better options.” --Kanakry
“ Great ski on hard snow and ice. Fun up until about ankle deep regardless of the snow conditions. Needs to be skied in slush and crud but still fun.” --nstelemark
“ I bought these used from a rep. Having never skied a true race ski before I had expected them to be a specialty ski for me. One run and I was sold on them. They do it all, short turns (of course they're a slalom ski) schmedium turns, even medium to long radius. They have grip on hard snow that's unbelievable, I feel like I have bear claws on my feet! I use them to teach and they have no...” --SkiMangoJazz
“ this is the most amazing SL i have ever tried. quick edge to edge response. Incredible Edge grip on ice!!! Yet no railing out turns. this ski attacks the hill. If you start leaning back to much, the tail will kick you forward, so be ready for it. It will litterally throw you into the next turn. For Expert skiers only. if you can...” --superflyracer
“This is the best WC GS ski i have ever used. Edge grip and confidence on this ski are through the roof. Words cannot express how great this ski is. I have never taken a free run on this ski. Used it 8 times in a race course. But it is a truly amazing ski.” --Kanakry
“I use this ski running Super G gates and on the days when I want to just go flat out fast, and it is a very, very fast ski. It likes long smooth turns and accelerates all the way through. Holds it's edge, like a razor slicing across an apple and that is on any angle, but it can mess you up very quickly if you don't stay on top of it; and it will really take off at the slightest change in...” --Matonieve
“This is a hand-built, race-stock FIS-compliant slalom race ski. It is beautifully constructed in Italy, by one of the most-respected builders of high-performance skis in Europe. As a slalom race ski, the Javelin stands among the finest you can buy. It is a purpose-built ski, meant to carve short-radius turns at speed on hard snow--and it does this superbly. But--especially with the heavy Vist...” --Bob Barnes
“This ski is nothing short of amazing. It's abilty to carve tight lines on icy courses while still allowing you to execute long sweeping GS turns makes it one versatile ski. I wrote an article on it over a year ago before the Waveflex feature was added. I'm even more enthusiastic about it now. The 2009 model made a great ski even better. Can't wait for the 2010 model! Even if you're not...” --patmoore
“lost tract of how many were bought since 1956.when these skis wear out ,i will find more like them.i use a 0 base and 1 side cut,and detune 6 inches back top and bottom.flat out they are as fast and stable as my old 7s rossiand 9s rossi.these skis give no knee pain and no surprises as the austrian skis do if mistakes are made, the french skis do not let you down. ” --snowfall
“ 2013 ATOMIC REDSTER D2 SL (WHITE) Firstly, let me mention I tested this ski by renting it from Skiset in Valmenier, a very lovely place to ski, beautiful weather this February 2013, alas onto the skis... PROS This ski is a carvers dream, it performs well in almost a full spectrum of piste conditions, anything from powdery snow to the frosty groomed snow the machines...” --MaxPolski
