2014 Nordica Dobermann SLR EVO Ski

GOD-HELL !!

g-force

Pros: Powerful grip

Cons: Powerful grip ... the double-edged sword

Nord-Dobe-Spitfire Pro EDT.  GOD-HELL !!  This is another ONE.  Smooth. Damp. Grip. NO Chatter -At All.   Warp-Drive.  Nice transition from slip to grip. BIG SWEET SPOT. These were also the sharpest edges I have found on a demo-ski: it was icy and i skied without any dust behind me. All that being said they were just a bit better than the Blizzard R-power and WRC....

2015 Head i.Supershape Magnum Skis

Pros: Tight carving performance, edge hold, adaptive sidecut, good balance between dampness and transition responsiveness

Cons: This is an expert ski, best for skiers with solid carving form who know how to set and release edge pressure and manage very fast transitions

Love this ski - have four pair from 2010 to Present, all progressively newer models, but really no significant change in design

2005 Stockli Stormrider XL

“ I use ths ski for powder and free riding.  It is a GS ski fattened up with the objective of going fast through powder. It needs space and power to intitate turns so is not designed for bumps, tight tree skiing or really crowded conditions. It can also take on heavy or even wet snow conditions without breaking a real sweat. As I said, it can take some powering down to initiate a turn but it...” --Matonieve

2006 Atomic Metron B5

“First time I tried these in a 162cm,  I Instantly was able to lay down perfect RR track carved turns. No upper speed limit. It's such a joy to let other people, both men and women, try this ski and watch their eyes get really big and say  "Oh my Gawd, now I know what carving really means"!!  Atomic sure goofed when they dropped this model. 2007 Atomic Izor 9:7

2007 Atomic Izor 9:7

“ I bought those for cheap at the beginning of the season as my backup pair for ski patrol duty.  My other pair are Salomon Equipe 24 hours which I like very much because they are heavy, stiff, and very stable at high speeds. First of all the Atomic Izor are really fast, super lightweight and agile skis. If you like dynamic short radius turns on steep slopes, you`re gonna have a blast...” --amigo

2007 Dynastar Contact 10 Ski

2007 Dynastar Contact 10 Ski

“Perfect ski for a good solid skier who is mostly on easter terrain.  Great fun on the short eastern groomers, bumps and glades, edge sticks on ice and hard pack.   You can feel the sweet spot move forward and back as you play with it, this ski is so easy to feel on the snow but so sollid at the same time with lots of pep.  I love the ski for what I do with it.  I've had it out in everything,...” --lady_Salina

2007 Elan Speedwave 12

2007 Elan Speedwave 12

“I had a pair of speedwave 12s, fantastic skis. Unfortunatly they bent at the shovel. Apart from that minor problem, which elan attributed to my skiing, they were alot of fun. Good at all speeds and the edge hold was supprisingly good given the stiffness of the ski. The only places where they were not so fun was unsuprisingly soft steep alpine and trees. I now have the 14s and they are far...” --BritishChap
