cascade best around

Pros: terrain, lifts, grooming, snowmaking

Cons: needs more attention to terrain park

This is the midwest and the elevation is like 700 ft and the vert is under 500ft everywhere you go.  The variety of terrain here blows devils head out of the water. this place has pitches, rolls, tilt, steeps, narrow, wide runs.  The snow making is the best but ever more important than the advanced snowmaking equipmet here is the willingness to make snow when the other places in the area are reluctant to take the risk.  Early season and late season, january thaw, cascade is making and grooming snow.  They open before adn have more runs open earlier than devils head every year. adn the same is true when compared to granite peak which is 1.5 hours north; cascade hs...

Negative Reviews

Pros: Nice Lodge and facilities, v. close to I-90

Cons: Long lines

Good Quick Skiing & Snowboarding Getaway

Pros: Fast moving & quad chairlift, good but short runs, good gradual slopes beginners runs with servicing chairlifts already.

Expensive food, everything starts to about five bucks per portion. So I would suggest to bring your own snacks. Ok lockers but tends to get too crowded, lots of chairs and tables for putting your boots on. Next to Interstate Highway I-90 going to Wisconsin Dells...so the whole ski resort tends to get too crowded because of its closeness to large metropolitan cities...
