Pros: close to Grand Rapids

Cons: Not much vertical, mediocre terrain, crappy snow conditions - it's just weak

The Burg may have the highest elevation of the SW Michigan resorts, but it has the among the least vertical drop.  Of all the Michigan resorts I've skied (~20) it's probably the weakest overall. Not much vertical, mediocre terrain, crappy snow conditions.  Unless you live in GR there's no reason to go here, and even if you do you're better off driving an hour south to Bittersweet or two hours north to Caberfae.
