Brighton Reviews

Pros: laid-back, intimate area

Cons: no real steeps

I would agree with previous review.  I liked Brighton and would go back.  It's small, and there really aren't any inbounds steeps, but skiing is interesting and nicely intimate.  Despite markings, it's primarily an intermediate mountain, but on a nice (or fresh) day, it will provide a respite from the crowds at Alta-bird.  Staff seems to care for the mountain and conditions.   I wouldn't spend a week there, but would always be willing to ski for a day.

I went to the bag lunch lodge and put on my boots there. You can park near Milly and just ski that, and the cut-over to Crest is a fun little trail.   The trail map makes it look like the chairlifts near the main base lodge are far apart. The are not, they're maybe 100 meters apart in all, except for Milly...
