The Unofficial Guide to Beaver Valley

Whether you want steeps,bumps, jumps or crusiers, Beaver Valley has it all. With everything from 40' jumps to the steepest run in Ontario Beaver Valley is the right club for you if you want variety of runs. Dubbed "the friendest club in the valley" for a reason, the off-slope activities are great as well. With 508 vertical feet spread out over 30 runs, the resort is also no slouch in terms of size (well, at least by Ontario standards).

Beginner

For the first day beginner there is Matt's Meadow which is served by a slow "magic carpet". But, even the second day beginner would get bored of the run so lets move on to the next step up, True North. True North is the longest run at Beaver clocking in at 1 km (.63 miles) and is the furthest skiers left run off of the North quad chair. This run, alothugh great, does have a bit of a runoff at the end, so beware boarders! The only other true green run, Southern Comfort; located on beaver south, is better left to the lower intermediate. The only other green runs are Ridge Run, Old Tom's, and Lazy Loop, which are mostly catwalks used to get from one place to another.
