Pros: Comfort, Fit, Performance
In 40+ years of skiing, the only piece of gear that has given me a hard time has been my boots. In all of my years I may have had three pairs of boots that fit me well, without compromise. With this pair....Make that four!
I have had everything from all-out race boots to 60-70 flex "comfort" boots, and always had a problem finding a good balance between comfort and performance. My most recent pair of boots was a pair of Rossi Pro Composite boots which had a great performance feel in the steeps and for carving, but lacked in comfort (for me) which meant unbuckling the boots between runs. There is nothing worse than having your feet "go to sleep" during a long off-piste run!
OK. Now down to business. For those skiers demanding a semi-performance boot that have a somewhat wide fore-foot and / or a high foot shape, and require a good heel lock, this boot is for you!
I can buckle these puppies up in the morning and forget about them. I never feel compromised in fit, feel, or performance. I love these boots! Mine are the 2009 red and white model.
These are not race boots, nor are they Sunday cruisers. They are a good balance of performance and comfort. 'Nuf said! Try a pair and never look back!
