Amazing jacket... virtually invincible

Phenomenal jacket.  I have the hoodless version, and it has 3-layer Gore-Tex XCR instead of the current models with Gore-Tex Pro.  I've had it for about 7-8 years, but it still looks/feels practically brand new.  Literally nothing as far as wind, snow, rain, etc gets through this jacket.  Breathes great as well, and has large pit vents for extra cooling if needed.  Fantastic with a couple layers underneath.  Definitely a bit pricey, but easily worth the money in the long run.  I've also recently been using the clear radio pocket on the arm for my phone/mp3 player, which has worked great (I can actually control everything with my gloves through the jacket).  Very highly recommended shell.
