Never again, worst holiday experience - ever
Pros: beautiful snow, scenery
Cons: unorganized, power cuts,poor restaurant service,nothing else to do
Was stuck in snow for 7hrs on a 90km ride.On checking in at 17h00 , the room wasn't ready.Had contstant power cuts .Had to walk to reception to beg hot water for coffee.No cooking facilities in room , so had to book meals at restaurant.Poor service-waited more than an hr and a half for order-plates were put infront of us and promptly whisked away from under our noses to another table.Cheese sauce stuck like jel to bowl-kitchen couldn't re-do it because there was nobody available in the kitchen and was told to do without.The Gondola restaurant ran out of sandwiches and chips in the middle of the day.It was a scramble to get the skigear and passes eventhough it was pre-booked and pre-paid.Nothing else to do at leisure, if you do not drink.Returned a day earlier.My car was pelted with stones coming down the pass by small boys in Lesotho.
