Pros: fast base, strongest in turns that I've used, could 'downhill' on these without fear.
Cons: heavy, and a real 'submarine' in powder.
I used to ski on Dynamics in the Seventies, and Eighties. I loved their exotic strengths, and thus was excited to see them 'back on the market' last summer. I bought a pair of 181s (without previous essays), because since I first started carving, I'd always found the 'advised lengths' to be too squirrelly for my height/weight (182cm, 94kg +/-). I would have preferred buying a shorter model, now that I've been on them.
These skis are 'dynamic'; on a full bore, groomed-run descent, the energy loads into and comes back out of each ski in perfect doses. Super-G or GS turns are absolutely consistent and reliable.
I'm skiing mostly in the French Alpes, and the snow here varies mostly from ice to hard groomed, and then into heavier-than-Rockies powder (Lived in Vail for 12 winters). For all but powder situations, these skis are "welcome back!"
