Pros: Easy to turn at low to upper speeds and really carves and holds. Racing - it's got a solid tail that'll launch you to the next turn.
Cons: Not the ski for you if you are skiing crud, powder, tend to sit back or need a ski that is forgiving.
Tuner, chauffer, for my 5 racing kids. I've owned a lot of skis. When I ski with the kids, they carve back and forth across the mountain and this ski makes it easier to keep up with them. It turns easy at low to moderate speeds while really holding a solid edge. But yes like most front side performance skis - stay on top (forward) or you’ll find yourself behind the ski and struggling to get back in control. If you like to carve - these skis are a blast!
After practice and when not with the race team, we’ll run Nastar and I’m crediting these skis with moving me up a notch. This ski is not ideal for downhill or super G speeds. They are as advertised and if you are racing in the local town league or Nastar sooner or later someone is going to beat you with these ;]
