Pros: Perfect and accurate fit
Cons: Not a 100% sold on "cargo" pants,

While cargo pants are not usually my thing, it doesn't mean they don't have a huge following and as a reviewer, it is up to me to know who a product is for. Helly does a very good job with the mid priced Legend cargo pant, the fit is accurate and the pant is very proportionate in length and shape of the pant legs. The articulating knee design allowed my legs to bend without pulling the waist down which does happen with some pants, not with the Legend. Helly also did a very good gob with strategically placing the insulation in the Legend pant, in the seat and the knee, two areas that as susceptible to cold. I don't usually use that mid thigh pocket but Helly did a good job with the design of their placement, not only was it unobtrusive by not according out but style wise, it broke up the material of the leg without saying "look at me, I am a pocket". Attention to detail has always been a priority of Helly and even with a pant that costs only $160.00 Helly didn't take any shortcuts. Helly took the time to finish the hem of the pant leg, where wear is very susceptible with a contrasting heavier Cordura type material which will hold up well to walking, getting caught in heel pieces and just everyday parking lot/ base area dirt and grim.
Not too many manufactures offer a pant with Primaloft and 2L Helly-tech level of waterproofness combined with being fully seam sealed for less than $200.00 let along $160.00, the Legend Cargo pant is a screaming deal.
