Pros: Excellent carving ski, holds firm in any conditions
Cons: Less forgiving in bumps
I demoed a pair of these and a pair of the Head Rally skis in December and later purchased a pair since they were a good combination of a solid carving ski with the versatility to take off piste at times. The titans are a GS inspired ski; therefore, are a fairly stiff ski. That being said they are a great ski at high speeds and you can really lay yourself out trusting that the skis will hold for you. I would recommend buying these skis in a slightly longer length (I bought mine in the 177 length) since they are slightly rockered, and plus being a bit stiffer a longer ski is easier to bend. The only con I have with them is that they can be a bit like riding a bull in the bumps and not quite as forgiving. Personally, I am a skier who likes skiing on an aggressive ski since I can use that extra energy and rebound to spice up my skiing and direct that energy into the new turn. I would recommend these skis for a very strong intermediate and above and to someone looking for a ski that is 70% carving/piste and 30% off piste.
