Pros: Tight carving performance, edge hold, adaptive sidecut, good balance between dampness and transition responsiveness

Cons: This is an expert ski, best for skiers with solid carving form who know how to set and release edge pressure and manage very fast transitions

The i.supershape magnum has scalpel-like edge grip, and I'd recommend it for an expert skier/amateur racer looking or PSIA examinees to lock down proper carve technique on frontside slopes. The ski has medium dampness (I found comparable Rossis snappier and Atomics stiffer) and is able to hold stability at very high speeds. Turning radius is very tight, but the ski has a non-linear sidecut that is able to adapt to a pretty broad range of turn radiuses across a range of speeds. This alone sets it apart from the other skis in my quiver....it's much less locked into a specific carving radius so it feels much more versatile, but the notional carving radius is 13m so the turn range is very...
