Pros: LIght weight and nimble
Cons: May not get the attention it deserves
The Yumi is one of the best additions to the Volkl Women's line up and the source of a huge smile when I had a chance to take her out for a few runs.
Like the big sisters in this line up, the Yumi (pronounced You-me) is a serious ski but slightly lighter and softer for that light weight skier who wants to head off the groomers, hit the moguls and play around in the trees.
As someone who is more of a fineness skier, this was one of the skis that put a huge smile on my face.
Watch out Aura and Kenja, your little sister is going to steal some of that attention that you've been accustomed to.
