Pros: excellent edge grip combined with good speed stability
Cons: extremely short slalom turns
I tested this ski a few weeks ago in 170cm length and bough it right away. I do usually ride a few different FIS SL race skis (Atomic and Blizzard) so I'm used to aggressive skis with excellent edge grip. I bought this ski as an addition to the race skis for good on-piste performance at all piste conditions.
This ski offers great edge grip which is far above most stock skis and offers good speed stability both on the edge and on the running surface. The radius of this ski is 15m but an average person can easily change the effective radius by adjusting edge angle and pressure. In order to use the full acceleration of this ski at the end of a curved turn you need to have a good technique and maintain a good balance on the ski otherwise this acceleration power is lost. But on the other hand this ski is very pleasant in case of any mistakes (i.e. leaning backwards).
Aggressively carved short turns are possible but they do require clean technique and some power in the lags - in case you want to do such turns quite frequently I'd recommend a different ski. This ski plays excellent on medium long carved terms with medium to high speed on various snow conditions (hard natural snow, artificial snow, ice). Speed control can mainly be done by radius adjustments which does allow carving on steep slopes as well.
Classic short turns (i.e. on very steep or bumpy slopes) are also easily possible with this ski, even though I would recommend a different edge angle for that (mine has 87°/0.5° - originally it comes with 88°/1°).
All in all I would recommend this ski to anyone from Amateur/Advanced to Expert level - this ski is very easy and pleasant to drive but with a good technique it can also be aggressive, which offers a great all-round capability for a sportive on-piste ski for nearly all conditions.
