Pros: Snappy all over the mountain, bumps and trees with ease!
Cons: Fugly topsheet reminiscent of a certain coffee shop logo
What was I waiting for? I bought these back in July and finally got around to waxing them up after the local mountain groomed out a halfpipe. Little did I know these skis were capable of so much more, but damn don't look down, you'll be asking for a Choco, mocha junko Latte. What a great ski even on the harder snow and in the fresh east coast powder (yeah it happens every now and then) these skis rule the day. Bumps, trees, steeps, jumps, pipes, hucks and probably way more stunts than I dare pull off on skis these, were a pleasant surprise, very light and maneuverable, shmear, slip, slide, slarve and oh yes carve. These might just become my all around ,every day except early season dust covered crust skis. They don't feel 90 wide underfoot and turn shape was equally versatile, the top sheet just might get a rattle can black primer paint job this summer but for a change a high end ski that exceeds my expectations. The shape is symmetric and the tail, tip flex is equally forgiving in the bumps. I'm not sure what the 2014's look like ,just close your eyes when you click in and don't look down!
