A real winner for lighter skiers with a strong skill set

Pros: An absolute delightful blend of performance & agility with a lighter feel. GREAT for lighter skiers who want versatility and quick response.

Cons: Not for heavyweights or "high speed cruisers" who should look to the brawnier models of the Chrome series. (The 72 does not contain metal)

 Tested in Vermont and in Eastern Canada on almost perfect conditions with a bit of "crud" and some true blue icey sections, our testers were immediately charmed by this ski, while noting that they do need to be skied centered.   A new dual core performance ski from Chamonix with plenty of side cut for aggressive skiers looking for quick response and a lighter feel. The 72 uses Poplar in the mid section for a solid platform and Pawlonia laminates near the tip and tail. Pawlonia is a new wood in ski design and brings 2 important characteristics to the new 72. Weight reduction and warp resistance add both performance and durability. The new 72 has a true fun loving personality...
