2014 Descente Revel Pant

Posted

Pros: Very well the most comfortable pant, I have tested this season

Cons: Snaps above the zipper could be a tad beefier

Descente has been hitting on almost every cylinder this season, everything I have tested has been top notch with the Revel being my favorite so far. With a 20,000/10,000 rating, the Revel has done everything I have expected of them so far with style. Speaking of style, the blue with red accent works perfect with the  2014 Descente BC Jacket shell in yellow. Sure it looks like I just fell out of a box of Crayola crayons but primary colors never go out of style. Since function also never goes style, the Revel hits that nail on the head too. With the 3-Layer Shell, Perfect seam seal, waterproof zippers along with the Motion 3D shape, the Dermizax Power Stretch keeps you dry an comfortable. Fit is perfect and like some shells in this category, I have yet to catch the lower pant in the binding...something small but until it happens to you...it can be a pain. So for a shell than retails for well under $400, make sure you add the Revel to your shopping list, you won't be disappointed.
