2014 Descente BC Jacket

Posted

Pros: Great color combos.

Cons: Not the least expensive shell on the market

I skied the BC today and was duly impressed with A. The light weight B. perfect fit and C. The great color palette. First, the light weight, this jacket felt like i was wearing nothing, Descente did a great job sparing no expense the keep the weight down on the BC. Second was the fit, layered with the Storm "middler", the combination was a perfect balance of form and function. Lastly, the Yellow Gold color, which was more a pure yellow than seeing any gold in it had great colors of trim including red, blue and green allowing the ability to accent with a multitude color combos.

This a great shell and I look forward to testing it in the extreme weather it was designed for...snow falling fast and deep. So stay tuned to these channels for "Part II" of the descente BC shell review.
